Bangkok is a city that never sleeps, and while its nightlife is legendary, many of its most beautiful sights are often overlooked after dark. In the evening, temperatures drop and there's less traffic, so it's an ideal time to discover a different side of Bangkok. Travel by tuk tuk to discover speakeasy bars, illuminated temples, and mouthwatering street food.

Your journey begins at Sathorn (Saphan Taksin) Pier at 6.30pm, where you’ll meet your guide and set off on a short tuk tuk ride into Chinatown. Here, tucked away in narrow alleys, you’ll find a stylish speakeasy bar where a delicious local meal and a herb-infused cocktail await. From there, explore iconic landmarks that most visitors only see by day. Pass the Grand Palace, glowing majestically against the night sky and stroll through the serene grounds of a nearby temple–a tranquil experience that feels worlds apart from the daytime bustle.

Next, dive into Bangkok’s famous street food scene. The nighttime streets come alive with sizzling woks and fragrant aromas, and you’ll sample some of the city’s best dishes, including sweet treats from beloved dessert stalls, such as kluai thot– deliciously sticky pieces of deep-fried banana coated in sesame seeds - the perfect way to round off the evening.

Throughout the evening, tuk tuks whisk you between stops, adding a dash of adventure to the experience. The tour concludes around 10.30pm, either at Bangkok’s most colourful and lively night walking street or at Sam Yot MRT Station, depending on your preference.

Good to know
The tour is not suitable for children under 10. It can get surprisingly cool zipping around at night in an open-sided vehicle, so you’ll be grateful for the extra coverage. Transfers to departure point not included.

Get off the beaten track with a leisurely tour on two wheels through some of Bangkok’s most beguiling areas. After meeting up with your guide and collecting your bike, you’ll head into the heart of Yaowarat, the city’s vibrant Chinatown district. You’ll pedal through winding lanes lined with shops and stalls selling everything from Buddhist amulets to authentic street food, with a few stops along the way to buy and try. From here, you’ll cross the Chao Phraya river by ferry to Thonburi, once the capital of Thailand and now a relatively sleepy residential district.

You’ll pass tiny shrines and temples, narrow waterways, quaint little markets and people just going about their business - it’s not nicknamed “the living part of Bangkok” for nothing - before returning to your starting point.

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany you aboard the express boat, where the city’s skyline unfolds as you cruise toward lesser‑known cultural treasures. Visit the Santa Cruz Church, a striking reminder of the historic Portuguese community, before wandering through the multicultural Kudeejeen Community to explore quiet alleys, old-style homes and a family-run bakery offering the rare Kanom Farang Kudeejeen. Continue to Wat Kalayanamitr, home to Bangkok’s largest sitting Buddha, then walk to the peaceful Kian An Keng Shrine and onward through narrow lanes to Bang Luang Mosque, or Kudi Khao—the world’s only Thai-style mosque blending Thai, Chinese, and European design. Your journey ends at Wang Lang Market, a lively riverside hub of street bites and colourful stalls, where sampling local snacks or sipping Thai iced tea provides a flavourful finale to a day that beautifully blends Bangkok’s past, present, and everyday rhythm.
